As part of the Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav (AMAK) celebrations, Embassy of India organised Rahtriya Ekta Diwas week on 27 October. Mainstream Indian cinema " Sardar " was screened for the Congolese people in the Embassy. A photo exhibition on the life of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel was also mounted on this occasion. India based officials of the Mission along with the local Congolese participated in the event.
