As part of Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav (AKAM) celebrations, Embassy celebrated Ambedkar Jayanti on 14 April in the Chancery. On this occasion, Ambassador G.R. Meena addressed the gathering on the importance of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar's life and his teachings. Ambassador and others offered floral tributes to Bharat Ratna Dr. B.R. Ambedkar. Members of Indian diaspora, Mission officials and local Congolese attended the event.
