Know India Programme (KIP)

Applications are invited from eligible young members of the Indian diaspora for the 88th edition of the Know India Programme (KIP), to be held in India from 16 August 2026 to 29 August 2026.
The Know India Programme (KIP) is a flagship initiative of the Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India, aimed at strengthening the engagement of young members of the Indian diaspora with their ancestral roots. The Programme provides participants with an opportunity to experience contemporary India and gain first-hand exposure to the country's rich cultural heritage, rapid economic transformation, innovation and start-up ecosystem, scientific and technological advancements, and developmental initiatives.
Eligibility
- Age: 24–28 years (Young Professionals)
- Open to Persons of Indian Origin (PIOs), Overseas Citizens of India (OCIs) and Non-Resident Indians (NRIs).

- Duration: Two weeks (inclusive of travel time)
- Number of Participants: 25
