The Embassy of India in Brazzaville celebrated the 79th Independence Day of India at the Chancery on 15 August 2025 with great patriotic fervour. The celebrations began with the unfurling of the National Flag by H.E. Mr. Madan Lal Raigar, Ambassador of India to the Republic of Congo, followed by the reading of the Hon’ble President of India’s address to the nation. In his remarks, Ambassador highlighted the warm and friendly relations between India and the Republic of Congo. It was followed by a programme featuring vibrant cultural performances by members of the Indian diaspora and local participants. The event was attended by around 250 guests, including members of the Indian diaspora, friends of India and locals, who came together to reaffirm their shared pride.
