Scholarship for Learning Hindi at Kendriya Hindi Sansthan
for Academic Year 2024-25

The Central Hindi Institute, an autonomous educational institution established in 1961 by the Department of Education, Ministry of Education, Government of India, and run by the Central Hindi Teaching Board, is headquartered in Agra with eight regional centers in Delhi, Hyderabad, Guwahati, Shillong, Mysore, Dimapur, Bhubaneswar, and Ahmedabad. Specializing in teaching Hindi as a second/foreign language, teacher training, and developing educational materials, the Institute has a distinguished reputation. Under the 'Hindi Promotion Scheme in Foreign Countries', the Institute admits 100 foreign students annually. From the 2024-25 session, this has been increased to 150 seats following the Admission Committee Meeting on May 20, 2024. The age limit for candidates has also been raised to 45 years.
